The new Pope John Paul II Cultural Center provides visitors with an experience that is both engaging and spiritual. The Pope John Paul IT Cultural Center is a multimedia facility designed to engagevisitors of all ages and denominations in a dis- cussion of the role that faith plays in the new millennium. The Cul- tural Center also inspires visitors to put their faith into action in their everydaylife. Using audiovisual presentations and interactive computer displays, as well as artifacts from the past, the Cultural Center provides a compelling experience in an environment distinct from the typical museum.It is a place where people can explore and examinetheir faith through activities that are at once illuminating, thought provoking andentertaining. Treasures and art from the Catholic Church and Vatican Mu- seums combined with high-tech inter- active exhibits provide an experience that is both engaging andspiritual,” said Father G. Michael Bugarin, the Center’s director. The interactive exhibit program features a “smart card” that guides visitors on a dynamic, socially interactive journeytailored to their specific interests.
