NEWS & NOTES Golfers Who Score For Their Communities (NAPSA)—Teeing off this year is an award and grant program that recognizes PGA Assistant Golf Professionals who have made significant contributions to their local communities. A new grant program is giving golfers the opportunity to further their golf education. Selected golfers will receive the Amstel Light Golf Recognition Award and Grant—to be used for continuing their golf education. The program is rooted in the notion that PGA Professionals make a difference both on and off the course in their communities. By recognizing the achievements of these individuals, the award highlights The PGA of America’s long-standing commitment to furthering the growth of the game.
