Lincoln Logs Celebrates 85" Anniversary (NAPSA)—Scholars say one of the great myths of American history may have been propagated by a children’s toy. Abraham Lincoln was said to have led an impoverished childhood. The truth, however, is that while our sixteenth president was born in a small log cabin, in Kentucky, his family actually owned two farms and a large parcel of land. Theclassic interlocking building sets were the creation of John Lloyd Wright, the son of famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright. In 1916, the younger Wright was inspired while with his father at a buildingsite.
