ESE@PES Pirates And Pleasures (NAPSA)—Many famous and in-famous visitors have passed through one Virginia town during its 394-year history, but perhaps the most notorious was the swashbuckling Blackbeard the Pirate. Meet “Edward Teach,” the 18th century pirate and others during a festive reenactmentin Virginia. Now, you can enjoy the escapades of this colonial menace when theyre reenacted during The Third Annual Hampton Blackbeard Festival starting June 1, 2002. Tour character vessels on the Downtown Hampton waterfront. Watch as they skirmish throughout the three-and-a-half day event. Visit the pirate camp and market created to resemble Blackbeard’s den.
