Walking On The Wild Side (NAPSA)—For your next family vacation to be a roaring success, it may help to check out a zoo. Zoos have become popular destinations for families because they’re child-friendly, fun and educational—and the U.S. is home to someof the best. Its A Jungle Out There—Pictured above is Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo, cited #1 zoo in U.S. for kids by Child magazine. For instance, the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, Florida was recently named the “#1 Zoo For Kids in the U.S.” by Child magazine. The zoo features a section called Safari Africa that houses elephants, giraffes, zebras, bongos and warthogs in a 5.6-acre rainforest and savannah exhibit. Children and parents can take a camel ride or feed giraffes. The highlight of the new exhibit is the elephant habitat—which is about two and a half acres and home to five elephants that were brought over from an overpopulated reserve in Swaziland.
