FunFest Summer Program For Children 2-12 (NAPSA)—This summer, chil- dren across the country will have the opportunity to take part in a special program that includes all kinds of creative activities to help children celebrate the joys of living andlearning. FunFest—Summer 2002, de- veloped by Children’s World Learning Centers, is as flexible as it is fun. Children up to 12 can be a part of it on a full-time, parttime, or even hourly basis. It’s a great way for kids to spend summer days—all with other kids their own age. FunFest is all about festivals and celebrations. Children will celebrate everything from music, nature andsports to food and family traditions. All kinds of creative activities and fun field trips are planned,including: “Amp-Camp,” where kids can explore the wonders of music and movement—all while learning about variousstyles of music from around the world and how other cultures celebrate. Children will be challenged to do their best in “Fantastic Feats” where they will explore the great outdoors while enjoying the kinds of traditional summeractivities no kid can resist—like splashing in a cool pool, playing sports, skipping rope or simply searching for shapes in the clouds. “Munch Mania”celebrates foods—old summerfavorites and new tastes, too. Also, opportunities will be available to explore arts and crafts, puzzles and games, theater and drama, computer time and more. School-age children will learn how to respect and protect This summer, children will get a chanceto celebrate and learn, thanks to a special program. the environment with outings to places such as parks, naturerescues and animal habitats—maybe even participating in a neighborhood cleanup. Finally, children will learn about festivals from around the country and take part in celebrations right in their own communities.
