SummerProgram Takes Kids On Creative Trip Across America (NAPSA)—A summer camp program for children celebrates what's special about America and its communities—from sea to shining sea. Children’s World Learning Centers across the country are offering FunFest 2003, a summerlong camp program for kids through age 12. In this program, kids are transported via their creativity and imaginations to various geographical regions of the country, using fun activities to explore what’s unique about that region. The program teaches kids about fish and hermit crabs while exploring the “zippity shores” of the Southeast coast and will trek through the “western trails” of the Rockies. They'll explore the “lakeside lands” of the Great Lakes and the “fields and farms” of the Midwest, while learning about “sailboats, sun and seagulls” in the Gulf Coast. They become “traveling tumbleweeds” while exploring the desert region, go on “apple seed adventures” in the Pacifie Northwest, have a “beach bash”in California, and visit the Eskimos and islands of Alaska and Hawaii. This is just a sampling of the many adventures kids can enjoy in the program.
