Make The Grade (NAPSA)—When college stu- dents hit the books, it’s more than likely it’ll be with the help of a new computer. Deciding which computer to buy is not always simple, especially as most students need to configure their computers to university network requirements. Fortunately, Compaq’s new “College Bound” Web site (www.compaq.com/athome/college bound) makes the process easier by providing personalized guidance for each campus. “Students today step onto college campuses highly computer literate and fearless of technology,” said Michael Humke, Compaq director of higher education. “Through our College Bound program, we can advise students which equipment best suits their school needs, as well as how to obtain anywhere, anytime access to vast quantities of information.” The company will also award two $5,000 college scholarships. Students may register on the Web site. “Compaq knows that higher education is the breeding-ground for America’s future leaders, so we’re committed to supporting students and their campuses in any way we can,” said Humke.
