LVYVGTIGTAIS Healthcare Scholarships (NAPSA)—Students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare maybe eligible for tuition assistance through an annual scholarship program that has awarded more than $6 million in financial aid since 1991. A health education program helps students pursue healthcare careers. The Department of Labor pro- jects a 26 percent increase in healthcare jobs by 2008, totaling 2.8 million new jobs. At the same time, 168,000 positions remain unfilled in America’s hospitals. In addition to doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, there will be an increased demand for technicians, physical therapists and dental assistants. To help address this growing need, the Tylenol Scholarship will award $250,000, including ten $10,000 grants, to 160 outstanding students pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies in a variety of health-related fields.
