Thanks to a new program, these phones can be recycled to help vic- tims of domestic violence. The Body Shop “Donate a Phone, Save a Life” campaign urges people across the United States to donate old, unwanted or damagedcellular phones at any of more than 300 The Body Shop stores in the U.S. by August 31, 2005. The retailer specializes in bath, body, skin care and makeup. Donated phones will be refur- bished and resold, with proceeds benefiting the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and The Wireless Foundation, or dis- tributed to women’s shelters for at-risk women.
