RES Connecting Heroes (NAPSA)—Adonation of laptop computers and tech support is making it easier for wounded and injured servicemen and -womento stay connected with friends and families. The servicemen and -women, whose combat casualties require long-term rehabilitation, live in one of 38 Fisher Houses, large multifamily homes on the grounds of 18 major military medical centers and nine VA medical centers. A new campaign helps provide the latest technology so families can remain connected to their loved ones. The computers are contributed by consumerelectronics retailer Best Buy’s vendor partners. Through Best Buy’s “Connectivity” campaign, customers support Fisher House, the troops and their families by making in-store and online donations. The retailer’s employees will volunteer at Fisher Houses help install and service the new systems, so families can remain con- nected to their loved ones.
