For each green idea submitted, the company will plant a tree on the customer’s behalf, with the goal of planting 4,000 trees by the end of May. Trade-In, Trade-Up Event: The 400 Ton Challenge is a new promotion that can help customers get money back for their old electronics, ink and toner. Plus, in recognition of the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, Office Depot is aiming to collect 400 tons of products in a month to prevent e-waste from ending up in landfills.
