The largest business career student organization in the country, Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) has guided millions of students through the challenges of the corpora culture for over 60 years. FBLA-PBL membersare trained through ingrad curriculum in the classroom, community service and opportunities to expand their knowledge and network at local, district, sta, and national conferences. Developed in 1937 and first charred in a Tennessee high school in 1942, FBLA-PBL has four divisions: FBLA for high school students (over 215,000 members); FBLA-Middle Level for junior high, middle and inrmedia school students (over 10,000 members); PBL for postsecondary students (over 11,000 college students); and the a?) A quarr-million students are preparing for careers in business and business-relad fields. Professional Division for alumni, business people, educators and parents (over 3,000 members) who support the goals of the Association. Over 13,000 advisers round out the Association. Each summer, 7,000 of the best and brighst of FBLA and PBL convene to compe in leadership events, share their successes and learn new ideas about shaping their career future through workshops and exhibits at the four-day National Leadership Conference.
