An earth-friendly Web site has been created to help people looking for local curbside information, buy-back centersor charities accepting can donations. The site, www.earth911.org, is a non-profit network providing visitors with community-specific environmental information through a zipcode search function. CALLING EARTH911—Americans who want to recycle more aluminum cans now have a Website that will help. Recently Earth911 added a charitable component to benefit Habitat for Humanity. The national recycling program Aluminum Cans Build Habitat for Humanity Homes (ACBHHH) hopes the partnership will increase aluminum can recycling and support the more than 530 participating Habitataffiliates. “In the last five years, more than 4 million poundsof aluminum cans have been recycled on behalf of ACBHHH.
