Can You Cook Your Way To Germany? (NAPSA)—Anewcontest offers a delicious opportunity for people to sample savory foods and discover that German cuisine consists of rich culinary traditions beyond beer and sausage. The German Agricultural Marketing Board (CMA)invites home cooks to enter their “Cook Your Way to Germany” Recipe Contest for a chance to win a seven day/six night trip to Germany for two people. Every entrant is encouraged to create a single recipe using at least one imported German food or beverage in oneof the four categories: 1) appetizer/snack, 2) side dishes, 3) entre and 4) dessert. Two second place winners will receive a seven-piece WMF cook- ware set made in Germany(retail value approximately $420). Three third place winners will receive a gift basket of gourmet German foods and beverages with a retail value of $200. Four honorable mentions will receive a barbecue tool set and a German cookbook. There are a wide variety of imported German products at the supermarket that can be incorporated into the creation of your own recipe—including cookies, cakes, pickles, mustards, cheeses, ham, breads, chocolate, vinegars, condiments, fish, coffee, jellies, jams, canned fruits and vegetables, potato products, soups, honey, wine, beer and noodles. Anyone who appreciates food products that are healthy, of superior quality and rich in flavor, will value the food products imported from Germany.
