LX Iau (NAPSA)—While startling new statistics show drunk driving is on the rise, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) says you can help protect your family on America’s roadways this holiday season. Keep your family on the road to safety this holiday season. Last year, 1,708 people were killed in alcohol-related crashes between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve. Researchers say in 2000, an estimated 16,653 people were killed in alcohol-related crashes. That’s one every 32 minutes. Around 600,000 others were injured. Here’s what you can do: e Never drink and drive. Appoint designated drivers for your holiday parties and forall occasions. Join MADD and national sponsor Saturn for the 15th anniversary of the Tie One On For Safety campaign by tying a red MADDribbon or affixing a cam- paign window decal to your automobile as a pledge to drive safe and sober this holiday season.
