(NAPSA)—Parents of children with cancerlet their fingers do the talking, due to an Internet support network created by The National Children’s Cancer Society (NCCS), called Care to Share Cancer Connection. The site allows families from all over the country to be connected with just the click of a mouse, so they can share their stories and support one another. It’s estimated that 8,000 new cases of childhood cancer will be diagnosed each year. Somechildren have to undergo treatment on a continual basis for as long as three years. During this time they often endurelengthy hospitalizations. It is these demands of treatment, new financial obligations and the emotionaleffects of the child’s diagnosis on the other family members that may contribute to the family’s need for support. The Care to Share Cancer Connection provides an online community that is accessible 24 hours a day in the comfort of their home and fosters open discussions with individuals touched by cancer from all over the nation.
