Campaign Says Caregivers Deserve Star Treatment (NAPSA)—For cancer patients and survivors, caregivers play a starring role, says actress Diahann Carroll, who has appeared on stage, film and television— most recently on the hit show “Grey’s Anatomy.” She is also a breast cancer survivor, who knows firsthand how important caregivers can be. Carroll’s support for cancer survivors and their caregivers makesher an excellent spokesperson for The Wellness Community’s Star Campaign. The public awareness campaign offers a way to honor family members, friends, health care professionals, social workers and oth- ers who provide support and care to cancer survivors. It enables those with cancer to go online to recognize and honor the galaxy of people—the Stars in their lives who have supported them through their cancer journey.
