Help Children’s Wishes Come True (NAPSA)—This holiday season, children ofall ages can find a million reasons to believe—and you can help. Bring a stamped letter, addressed to Santa at The North Pole, to any Macy’s before December 25 and drop it in the red Santa Mail letterbox. As part of its “Believe” campaign, Macy’s will donate $1 to Make-A-Wishfor every letter received, up to $1 million, to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. R.H. Macy’s “Believe” campaign was inspired by the New York Sun’s 1897editorial “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus” written in response to a child’s question about Santa’s existence. This touching story created generations of believers and provided inspiration for the “Yes, Virginia” animated special, available at the department store as a DVD andillustrated storybook, with 10 percent of the purchase price also donated to Make-A-Wish.
