Survey Shows Closets Need Cleaning

(NAPSA)—Despite their mothers’ warnings, even as grown-ups, people continue to struggle with messy closets, according to a recent telephone survey. When asked which area was most in need of organizing in their house, nearly one-third (31 percent) of the respondents said closet, ahead of garage (27 percent) and homeoffice (8 percent). It took months, even years, for closets to get cluttered. Set a reasonable timeline for how longit will take to declutter and get organized. When sorting clothes, shoes or other items stowed in the closet, try cutting down the total number you keep. For every four items you keep, throw away one.
