In the center, mark a spot 9” from the ceiling. On the right side, mark a spot 12” from the ceiling. On the wall to your right, mark several spots 12” from the ceiling. On the adjacent wall, start on the top left corner and mark a spot 12” from the ceiling. In the center, mark a spot 15” from the ceiling. On theright side, mark a spot 18” from the ceiling. This bedroom will have kids racing off to sleep, to dream oflife in Radiator Springs. On the last wall, mark several spots 18” down from the ceiling. On each wall, tape a string from one end and overlay it on the pencil marks, stretching it horizontally to the other end of the wall and tape. Using the string as a guide, mask with painters tape across the walls. Paint top walls “100 Acre Sky.” Paint bottom walls “Three Cheers for Pooh.” Let dry. To create a checkered pattern, use the bottom line of the blue wall color as your guide. Mask off 3” above and below this to create a 6” border. Paint “Main Street Lights.” Let dry. Divide this section in half horizontally. In the top half, mask off rectangles and paint every other one “Galaxy Black.” Let dry. Repeat for bottom half.
