If so, you may have a chance to win a new contest that celebrates the simple and imaginative uses of technology in everydaylife. The Start Something Amazing Awards were created by Microsoft to recognize the unique ways peo- ple are using Windowstechnology. People are invited to submit a personal story or nominate others who have used Windows or Windows-based technology, applications and devices to pursue their interests or start something new. Five award winners will receive a trip to Seattle with the opportunity to meet Microsoft chairman, Bill Gates, $5,000 in Windows technology and once-in-a-lifetime prizes designed to further celebrate their passions—from an expedition to Tanzania to a day behind-the-scenes at ESPN. One winner will be selected from each of five categories: Culture & Community, Music, Memories, Home & Lifestyle and Sports & Games.
