WANTS To KNOW Cutting Car Care Costs (NAPSA)—Congress is debating a bill that experts say could drive up auto repair costs. The Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association (ATRA)is supporting a different bill: the Motor Vehicle Owners’ Right to Repair Act (HR 2048). It would require auto manufacturers to share technical information with independentrepair shops, protecting people’s right to choose where to have their cars repaired.
